Jimmy Young has been in the repair business for many years, and has repaired thousands of instruments.
Western Swing Hall of Fame Fiddler
Jimmy Young plays the fiddle with Bob Wills' Texas Playboys, and has played with Bob Wills. Jimmy is a master fiddler, and knows how to spot a quality instrument. Jimmy fixes the "unrepairable" instruments at a fair price. He commonly rehairs bows, fixes cracks and nicks, and installs accessories.
Buckey's Electronics
Greg Johnston, owner of Buckey's, handles all electronic repairs, such as custom pickup configurations, rewiring, installing pickups in acoustic instruments, and component testing. Anything Greg cannot handle is outsourced to an Amarillo College electronics professor.
